š A Little Autumn Magic, Letting Go & What's Brewing at PLY

Ā
Hello, beautiful souls! š
Ā
It's officially my favorite time of year!
Ā
The crisp mornings, the changing leaves, cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and everything pumpkin. And of course, HALLOWEEN! š
Ā
If you know me, you know I love a little magic, and this time of year feels absolutely overflowing with it. It takes me back to pumpkin patches, hot apple cider, corn mazes, my grandma's popcorn balls, candy corn, kids laughing, costumes and all the fun that comes with this time of year......Ā
Ā
As we approach Halloween, we're also approaching a tradition I have always been deeply intrigued by namedĀ Samhain (pronounced SOW-in), often celebrated as the Witch's New Year. It's a time traditionally associated with honoring those who came before us, reflecting on the seasons behind us, and welcoming a new cycle. A Beautiful practice I find powerful.
Ā
And while I fully intend to enjoy all the spooky, witchy goodness this season has to offer, there's something about it that always pulls me a little deeper inward.
š The Beautiful Art of Letting Go
Have you ever noticed that trees don't seem particularly bothered by losing their leaves?
Ā
They spend months growing them, nourishing them, showing them off in all their glory... and then, when the season changes, they simply let them go.
No guilt. No second-guessing. No desperately trying to glue them back on.
(Meanwhile, I'm over here trying to convince myself I might someday need that shirt I haven't worn since 2018. š)
Ā
But seriously, there's something really beautiful about that.
Lately, I've felt such a strong pull to clear things out. Closets, drawers, clothes, forgotten corners of my home. Even my crystals and spiritual tools have been getting a little love and rearranging.
Ā
Some things I'm releasing entirely. Others I'm finding new purposes for.
And somewhere between sorting through clothes and deciding whether I really need another basket (the answer is probably no, but let's not get carried away), I realized something.
Ā
This isn't just about clearing out my home. It's about taking inventory of my life.
Ā
The things I own. The habits I keep. The commitments I make. The relationships I nurture. The expectations I place on myself.
And asking:
Ā
Does this still align with who I am today?
Does this support the woman I'm becoming?
Am I holding on because it brings value to my life, or simply because it's familiar?
Ā
Sometimes the answers are easy. Sometimes they're a little uncomfortable.
And sometimes letting go doesn't mean getting rid of something altogether. It means finding a new way to relate to it. Creating healthier boundaries. Changing an old pattern. Giving something a new purpose.
Ā
Not everything needs to be discarded. Some things simply need to evolve.
⨠Even This Little Corner of PLY Is Evolving
And in the spirit of practicing what I preach, I'm giving myself permission to release a few old work habits, too.
Ā
For quite some time, I've been sharing my PLY Weekly notes with you. And I've genuinely loved having this space to connect, reflect, and share little pieces of my heart.
Ā
But somewhere along the way, I realized that I was putting pressure on myself to create something deeply meaningful every single week.
Ā
And friends, sometimes a girl just wants to drink her matcha, walk her dog, and enjoy a beautiful fall morning without turning every thought into a newsletter. š
So I'm giving myself permission to simplify.
Ā
Moving forward, PLY Weekly is becoming The PLY Newsletter ā a monthly note from me to you.
Ā
Once a month, I'll open this little window into my world. We'll explore something meaningful, perhaps a seasonal reflection, a little personal growth, or whatever life happens to be teaching me.
Ā
I'll also share what's happening at PLY Healing and the opportunities we have to connect.
Ā
You'll still receive shorter notes throughout the month about yoga, Reiki, and upcoming gatherings. Just fewer lengthy emails and a little more intention behind each one.
Ā
And honestly? It feels like a breath of fresh autumn air.
Ā
Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop doing something simply because it's how we've always done it.
Ā
A little less hustle. A little more heart.
Now THAT feels like my kind of magic. š
šæ A Little Reflection for Your Own Season
As we move toward Samhain and the close of October, I invite you to take a little inventory of your own.
Ā
Maybe it's a closet. Maybe it's an old habit. Maybe it's a relationship that needs healthier boundaries, an expectation you've outgrown, or a version of yourself you're finally ready to release.
Ā
Ask yourself:
What am I holding on to that no longer serves me?
What in my life deserves a new purpose rather than an ending?
What am I ready to make space for in this next season?
You don't need to figure it all out today.
Sometimes a little awareness is where the magic begins.
š What's Brewing at PLY Healing This October?
If you've been craving a little time to reconnect with yourself, I'd love to welcome you into one of these spaces.
š§āāļø Sound & Soul Yoga | Move, Breathe, Release
A little yin, a little vinyasa... or as I affectionately call it, Yin-yasa!
Sound & Soul blends mindful flowing movement with longer, slower yin holds, creating space to build warmth, soften tension, and come back home to your body.
Ā
And my favorite part? We close with a beautiful, restful Savasana accompanied by the soothing sounds of singing bowls.
A little movement, a little magic, and a whole lot of soul.

š Moonday Sister Circle | A Cozy Space to Receive
Monday, October 26 | 7 PM | Online via Zoom
As the October full moon illuminates the sky, we'll gather for an evening of reflection, connection, and Reiki.
Ā
This isn't another thing you need to prepare for, perform in, or check off your to-do list.
Ā
It's quite the opposite.
Ā
Slip into something cozy. Make yourself a warm cup of tea. Grab your journal, settle into your favorite corner of home, and allow yourself to be held for a change.
Ā
We'll begin with grounding and reflection around the full moon, explore a few thoughtful journaling prompts, and then settle into the heart of our evening: a guided distance Reiki experience.
Ā
Cameras are optional. Sharing is optional. Pajamas are enthusiastically encouraged. š
Ā
$33 per gathering or $22 for PLY Membership
Ā
⨠Private Reiki | A Little Healing Magic, Just for You
Sometimes we need a space that's entirely our own.
My private Reiki sessions are an invitation to slow down, settle your nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and experience deep relaxation through gentle energy work.
Ā
Whether you're navigating change, feeling stretched thin, or simply longing for a little time where someone else holds the space, I'd be honored to welcome you.

š One Last Little Thought Before You Go...
As the leaves fall and the nights grow longer, I hope you'll remember this:
You are allowed to outgrow things you once loved.
Ā
You're allowed to change your mind. To find a new rhythm. To set a boundary. To release something beautiful that simply doesn't belong in your next chapter.
And perhaps the greatest magic of all isn't found in what we add to our lives.
Perhaps it's found in what we finally give ourselves permission to put down.
So light the candle. Make the tea. Open the windows. Clear out that drawer.
And let a few leaves fall, beautiful soul. š
Ā
There's something lovely about making room for what's next.
With love, light, and a little autumn magic,
Ā
Linzi PLY Healing | Peace, Love & Yoga
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
Ā
P.S. If you're clearing out your closets this month, please tell me I'm not the only one who discovers things I forgot I even owned. š
